Nyambene Sub-County Hospital has expanded its inpatient capacity with the commissioning of a new 60-bed male ward, strengthening the hospital’s ability to provide dedicated medical and surgical admission services.
The facility comprises 30 medical beds and 30 surgical beds, providing additional space for male patients who require inpatient treatment. The development forms part of the hospital’s continuing infrastructure improvements and its efforts to strengthen the range and capacity of services available at Level 4.
The expansion is particularly important for patients requiring admission following medical assessment, surgery or other conditions requiring continued observation and treatment.
