Who We Work With
Government and County Health Authorities
The County Government of Meru, through the Department of Health Services, provides the governance, staffing, resources and operational framework within which the hospital delivers public healthcare services. The hospital also works within national health policies, programmes and standards established by the Ministry of Health and other relevant government institutions.
Specialist and Healthcare Partners
The hospital collaborates with organisations and healthcare professionals that support specialist services, clinical outreach, mentorship and capacity building. These collaborations may include specialist surgical services, ophthalmic care, obstetric fistula treatment and other areas identified as priorities for the hospital.
Training and Academic Institutions
Universities, medical training colleges and other recognised educational institutions support clinical placements, teaching, mentorship, continuing professional development and research. These relationships contribute to the development of healthcare professionals and strengthen clinical learning within the hospital.
Development and Community Partners
Where applicable, the hospital works with development organisations, community organisations and other stakeholders on programmes that support health promotion, service delivery, capacity building and community health.
