The Maternal and Child Health (MCH) Department provides preventive, promotive and routine clinical services for women, mothers, newborns and children. Services cover pregnancy care, postnatal follow-up, child health, immunisation, family planning and other reproductive and child health needs.

Please bring your antenatal booklet or Child Health Booklet to every visit to support continuity of care and accurate documentation.

The department provides:

  • Antenatal care and prevention of mother-to-child transmission of HIV (PMTCT)
  • Postnatal care and follow-up for mothers and babies
  • Child Welfare Clinic, including growth monitoring and nutrition counselling
  • Routine and catch-up childhood immunisation
  • Family planning counselling and a range of contraceptive methods
  • Cervical cancer screening
  • Health education and counselling on maternal, newborn and child health
