    Recognising the role of medical imaging in diagnosis and treatment, and the radiographers and radiology staff who deliver CT, X-ray and ultrasound services at the hospital.

    Free blood sugar testing, foot checks and dietary counselling, with same-day linkage into the NCD clinic for anyone whose result needs follow-up.

    Raising awareness of preterm birth and the care of premature and low-birth-weight babies. Early and regular antenatal care, delivery in a health facility and kangaroo mother care all improve the outcome for small babies.

  • World Antimicrobial Resistance Awareness Week

    Promoting the responsible use of antibiotics and other antimicrobials. Take antibiotics only when prescribed by a clinician, complete the full course, and never share or keep leftover medicines.

  • World AIDS Day

    HIV testing and counselling, treatment literacy sessions and adherence support at the Comprehensive Care Clinic. Testing is confidential and free.
